Comet launches a suite of stored-value cards

Comet Replacement Services, the insurance and replacement sales arm of leading out of town electrical retailer Comet launched their new insurance claim card, the 'Electrical Replacement Card' on 3rd November 2003. Comet was the first retailer in its sector to offer this type of programme, which is at the forefront of technology and is already very popular in the States.

The 'Electrical Replacement Card' offers an exciting new alternative to traditional paper gift vouchers. The card offers many advantages including increased security and the option to load any amount up to £5,000 onto a single card and redeem in multiple transactions. In addition, it offers the recipient the flexibility to upgrade or choose alternative products from the wide range on offer in any Comet store in the UK or via the phone with Comet Direct.

Comet also launched a Gift Card targeted to their retail customers. These cards are available in four attractive designs, and can be loaded with any value up to £5000 on a single card. Comet Business Services, the Business to Business sales arm of Comet also launched a Corporate Gift Card for the incentive market.
