Stored-value solutions are so much more than just a way of replacing paper vouchers.

Because they can be displayed in the retail space in front of the customer, retailer own-branded Gift Cards (disposable or re-loadable) increase sales, share of wallet and loyalty whilst at the same time driving out shrinkage, storage and fraud costs. Promotional cards can be issued to coincide with a store opening, product launch, or simply as a ''tip-on'' on a magazine to support an advertising campaign. In this case, cards can optionally be issued with notional value but only activated when the customer registers (via interactive voice response, web or at the POS)
